
Cath Campbell
Trustee
Yorkshire-born Cath has lived and worked in Scotland for nearly two decades. She has spent most of her career in the third sector, primarily in organisations focused on preventing and responding to violence against women and girls. Her wider work has included mental health and wellbeing, community empowerment, and advocacy for Black and minority ethnic women’s rights.

Since 2019, Cath has worked for the Scottish Government as a Senior Policy Officer. Her work has included the Gender Pay Gap Action Plan, flexible working, pregnancy and maternity discrimination, and redesigning school-age childcare to help tackle child poverty. She focuses on people-centred, place-based approaches that embed lived experience in policymaking.

Cath is also a community songleader, founding ‘Kitchen Table Singing’ and leading inclusive singing spaces that foster connection and wellbeing. She brings a strong commitment to justice, participation, and collective care to her role as a trustee and supports organisations to centre equity, voice, and community in their governance and decision-making and practice today and always.
