Our projects
Since 2021, we have worked with a number of partners to successfully deliver community projects across Scotland. In each of these, we have trialled applications of the Wellbeing Economy. Find out more about each of our projects below.

Our Homes, Our Economy
Too often, the housing crisis is treated as a technical problem, addressed through piecemeal reforms or short-term policy fixes. This project starts from a different place. We believe the challenges people face, from rising rents to insecurity and homelessness, are not isolated issues, but symptoms of an economic system that prioritises growth and profit over collective wellbeing.
Tackling Inequalities
Tackling Inequalities: Developing Community Indicators
In partnership with Foundation Scotland, WEAll Scotland is supporting grantees of the Tackling Inequalities fund to strengthen learning, collaboration, and the application of ‘upstream thinking’ in their work.
As part of this ongoing support, we are helping community organisations develop Community Indicators—tools designed to measure their impact and understand their potential contribution to systemic change.

Sharing our Wealth

This project, in partnership with Tax Justice Scotland and the Diffley Partnership, aims to support a more informed public and political discussion on wealth redistribution in Scotland ahead of the 2026 Scottish Parliament election. Through a combination of polling and focus groups, the project will provide evidence on the Scottish public’s attitudes towards wealth inequality and policies designed to reduce it, including tax measures within devolved powers.

The research will explore whether people consider current levels of wealth fair, the types of redistributive policies they support, and how these preferences vary across different wealth groups.
Raising our gaze
A partnership project between WEAll Scotland and Foundation, Raising our gaze that examines how we can go beyond short-term fixes and support enduring transformative change. The report produced from this projects provides a snapshot of our journey so far, based on the four pillars of a Wellbeing Economy - purpose, people powered, prevention and pre-distribution.

Perth and Kinross wellbeing budgeting
Developing a Wellbeing Budget in Perth and Kinross
In partnership with Perth and Kinross Council, WEAll Scotland is supporting the development of Scotland’s first Wellbeing budget, aimed at tackling poverty while embedding wellbeing principles in local decision-making.
Drawing on global approaches to wellbeing budgeting, the project is creating a methodology and toolkit that can be applied to existing council budgets and data.
