Tackling Inequalities: Developing Community Indicators.

In partnership with Foundation Scotland, WEAll Scotland is supporting grantees of the Tackling Inequalities fund to strengthen learning, collaboration, and the application of ‘upstream thinking’ in their work. As part of this ongoing support, we are helping community organisations develop Community Indicators—tools designed to measure their impact and understand their potential contribution to systemic change.

The process began with a workshop in December 2025, where grantees explored key outcomes and the types of indicators that could best capture the effects of their work. Following this, WEAll Scotland is working directly with each of the eight funded projects to refine and implement these indicators, ensuring they are practical, meaningful, and aligned with the projects’ goals.

By equipping grantees with tailored measures of impact, this project helps organisations better demonstrate the value of their work, share learning across the network, and build evidence to support wider change in tackling inequalities at a community level.
