Sonya (she/her) is leads on global programmes to embed and enshrine climate justice into teaching and learning at Students Organising for Sustainability (SOS-UK). Through her work, she brings together students, workers, academics and their institutions to develop graduates who can shape a more sustainable and fairer world. Outside of work, Sonya helps facilitate the Readers of Colour reading group at Glasgow Women's Library.

 

Sonya sees education as a vehicle to decolonise and decarbonise our world, and is passionate about facilitating spaces, programmes and conversations to centre student and worker voice and experience in this important journey.
